Beliefs & Code

Beliefs

Our core beliefs are two-fold.

The work we do impacts people and our aim is to make their lives more fulfilling, rewarding and happy. The people we work with might be the employees of an organisation and we believe that every employee aims to do the best job that they can and that within every organisation there are things that support them and things that get in their way. The people we work with might also be the customers of our clients who have their own needs, goals and aspirations. And we believe that by enabling people to realise these things, we can improve their lives.

Our second core belief is that responsible commercial organisation focused on meeting the needs of people is one of the most effective ways of improving the lot of mankind and the development and fulfilment of each person.

How we view change
Change is a continuous journey. Sometimes it’s a steady process of evolution as an organisation or individual responds to feedback from the environment. Sometimes it involves metamorphosis as the needs of the environment or the organisation require major and rapid transformation. Either way, focused change occurs when clear leadership articulates the ideal direction and competent, motivated people respond by self-organising to achieve an aligned state of activity that fully meets the needs of the environment in which a business operates.

How we work
We build change on the foundation of a clear detailed understanding of the needs of customers and employees and the reality of the current situation. We continue by capturing the creativity experience and wisdom of people to define a precise blueprint for the future. We then enable our clients’ people to bring that blueprint into reality. Throughout all of this, our emphasis is on engaging and involving our clients’ people and customers in the process so that they own and are enthusiastic about the outcomes.

The importance of results
Our clients work with us because we achieve results that make a significant difference to their business results. At the start of any programme, we work with our clients to set out a clear statement of the focus, costs and benefits. During each programme we regularly review these things and at the end of the programme we look back with our client to identify the true costs and true benefits of our work together. In most cases, this end of programme review shows that the benefits that were realised are in fact greater than were planned. Irrespective of our philosophical view of the work we do, busy, ambitious directors and other executives need and demand business results and this is what we deliver.

Our Code

Our Code of Practice aims to put our client, its customers and people at the heart of everything we do.

Getting results
We will help our client achieve the business results that they want by ensuring that:
  • We involve and listen to our client’s people and customers
  • We define, work with and realise clear objectives
  • The experience of working with us is positive and enjoyable for everyone involved
  • Our methods are well structured and effective
  • We adapt to the changing needs of our client

Confidentiality
Unless our client gives us permission, we will not at any time divulge or allow to be divulged to any person or organisation, any confidential information relating to the business or affairs of our Client or its people, including information obtained from customers, employees and others as part of an assignment.

We will not refer to our work with our Client for any purpose in connection with our business unless prior to any published reference to our Client or our work with them we have our client’s approval

Intellectual property
We will not cause or permit anything that may damage or endanger the intellectual property of our Client or our Client’s title to it or assist or allow others to do so.

Integrity and independence
We will disclose to our client, any relationship, circumstance or business interest that might influence or impair our ability to carry out an assignment in an independent and impartial way. We will not work on an assignment that may give rise to a conflict of interest, unless our client is aware of and agrees to the situation. We will not accept or give any inducement in order to secure an assignment or related to any other aspect of our work with our client, unless it is agreed by the client as part of, for example, an incentive to our client’s customers.

Our work environment

We will not tolerate sexual harassment, discrimination or offensive behaviour of any kind in our work places, which includes the persistent demeaning of individuals through words or actions or the display or distribution of offensive material.
